John Denton specialises in supporting the implementation of strategic change and developing leadership capability on both an individual and organisational basis.
As an associate fellow, he has supported several executive education programmes for major clients, including Rolls-Royce, the Royal Mail Group, SABMiller, Arcadis, BAE Systems, MAN, the China Construction Bank, Commerzbank, Nexen and several governments in the Middle East and Southeast Asia. His roles range from programme design and direction, through to senior executive coaching.
Prior to establishing his own business, John worked as a manager for the UK’s air traffic service. A career initially in engineering was followed by a series of strategic corporate roles in investment planning and implementing organisational change in the run-up to part-privatisation. Other projects have included change managing a technology programme for a government department, enhancing an IT department's approach to customer service, and developing the capabilities of a mid-sized charity’s leadership team.
John has an MBA from Henley (University of Reading). He is an incorporated engineer, a member of the Institution of Engineering and Technology, a charter manager, a fellow of the Chartered Management Institute, BPS* Level 1 & 2 qualified, an accredited coach and a member of the Association of Coaching.

As a leadership coach, John is passionate about helping people to find creative solutions to tough problems and identifying fresh ways to implement them. He uses a range of approaches, including well-proven psychometric profiling instruments to provide clients with a more informed and deeper understanding of how to develop their personal style to increase their effectiveness as leaders.
